How to Throw a Great House Warming Party

Now that you have moved into your new home, it’s time to show it off! Gather your closest family and friends and throw a house-warming party! We’ve come up with a few ways to  ensure that you have memorable house-warming party! 

1. Plan ahead 

Whether it’s an elaborate party or a casual get-together, make sure you plan beforehand. Don’t be afraid to have fun with it! Themed parties are a good way to get your guests involved and excited for the party.

Prepare invitations according to the type of party you are throwing. Be sure to send them out about a week in advance.

Clean up any remaining clutter or mess left over from your move. Make sure bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper and soap. It’s important to make sure that there is ample seating for however many guests you think will be attending. 

4. Have an inviting atmosphere 

An inviting scent is a great way to make people feel more welcomed and comfortable. Using seasonal scents are always a good idea (i.e., like pumpkin spice scent during the fall months or peppermint during the winter months). Another way to create a more inviting atmosphere is to have music playing. Make a playlist of your favorite songs (or songs that fit the mood of the party). Image result for housewarming party

The whole point of a house-warming party is to show off your new home! Give the grand tour to your guests! Share the excitement you feel towards your new home with friends and family.
